A-ha the last few posts have all lea up to my newest and most important topic to learn about - my RETIREMENT!

We (my husband and I have decided that it's time for me to begin enjoying life - stress-free and "work"-free. What does that mean? And where has it or is it leading me?

First there's the planning, organizing for the financial aspects of retiring - which I'm in the process of doing. Which being the logical, responsible person I'm in the process of doing. However, there is much more --

What does it mean for my life? How will I spend my "free" time? Great questions! And wouldn't you know - I've been led to a place to help me focus on learning the answers. It's a place to help me focus on - ME! Which is an entirely new focus, a new direction.

Apparently I've reached a Choicepoint (Gaiam TV phrase).Reflecting on that particular video leads me to be utterly amazed at how we can be compared to a catepillar - (video notes here: "If someone feels uncomfortable with the way things are or you feel the need to do something about the way things are - that's the first indication that you're getting ready to change") The image is of a catepillar's metamorphosis. Isn't a person's process of change similar? We wrap ourselves in a cocoon and spend time in inner reflection only to emerge as a new and beautiful creature!!

I'm on the right track! Not only must I do the financial planning for retirement but I must do the internal introspection!
