Converting MS Office documents to PDF
Invest in Adobe Professional!
Doing so, when you already have MS Office installed, the Adobe installation adds a menu item "Adobe" to all the Office programs.
Then just open the MS Office document in the native Office format, use the Adobe menu in that program and choose "Create PDF".
Allow a few minutes for the conversion to occur. When done, a new PDF file will open for you to review. Your original Office document remains available in a window. Save both the Office and the PDF document!
Powerpoint conversions - if Notes have been included for particular slides, during conversion you will be asked if you'd like those converted also. Say Yes. Users need to know that to view the notes they can click the icon in the upper left corner of the slide.
Best Practice - always save the original Office document. Do your edits in the Office document and then convert it again to a PDF file. It's okay to name the files the same. That will just overwrite the old versions.
